Dr. Wayne L. Sankey has been creating beautiful smiles in Flower Mound since 1998, and has gained a reputation for his utmost integrity and quality in orthodontics. Dr. Sankey is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and specializes exclusively in orthodontics for patients of all ages.After completing dental school at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Sankey completed his orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998. His master’s thesis on early treatment has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Sankey believes that it is imperative to remain in the forefront of advancements in orthodontics. Therefore, he attends numerous orthodontic lectures and seminars each year and is actively involved in an orthodontic study group. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the Denton County Dental Society (DCDS).
Originally from southern California, Dr. Sankey and his wife, Elizabeth live in Flower Mound with their daughters, Madeline and Ava. When not in the office, he enjoys golfing, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
